Unless stated otherwise in writing the
following terms and conditions shall apply. "RIMARTON
LIMITED" / "AOR UK" / "TENTEC DIRECT
UK" shall be referred to here as ‘The Company",
the other party will be referred to as "the
Purchaser" or "the Customer" unless otherwise
stated. Your statutory rights will not be affected.

1/ Price and Delivery:
All Prices are subject to change at any time without
notice. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of
quoted prices and specification, no responsibility is accepted
for any error or omission nor for loss arising from errors in
the information provided.
Prices charged will always be those ruling at the date of
despatch. All prices are subject to the current rate of VAT
ruling at the date of despatch.
Where goods are manufactured by "The Company"
they will be supplied substantially as described, however the
right is reserved to make design changes due to developments
in technology. Goods not manufactured by "The
Company" will be supplied to the manufacturer’s current
finish and specification. Paperwork is generally
available in English language only.
Quotations are usually valid for 30 days but represent no
obligation until "The Company" accepts the
Purchaser’s order. Any delivery period quoted is an
estimate, provided ‘The Company" takes all reasonable
steps to deliver the goods at the time stated there can be no
liability for any delay or failure to deliver.
No minimum order conditions apply to ‘cash with order’
however a minimum order level of £20.00 pounds will apply to
Credit Account customers. Cancellation of customer’s orders
can only be accepted after negotiation, on no account can
cancellation be accepted for items ordered specifically on a
customer’s behalf.
Deliveries will be packed in non-returnable packaging to
"The Company’s" normal specification. A nominal
charge will be made against all orders to cover carriage and
packing. Goods will normally be delivered by post.
2/ Shortages or Transit Damage:
Both ‘The Company" and carriers must be notified within
three days of receipt of goods or in the case of non-delivery
upon receipt of invoice, otherwise no liability can be
accepted.
3/ Retention of Title:
Until full payment for goods supplied has been made the
property in them shall remain in ‘The Company’.
4/ Service and Repair:
All goods (less consumables) are covered by a one year parts
and labour warranty which starts from the date of invoice.
In some EU countries a two year warranty is mandatory, this
applies for sales to private customers only and is not applied
to business to business transactions. "The Company" retains the right not to contain Power
Output Devices within this cover.
Faulty goods may be returned to ‘The Company" by
arrangement. Products returned for service/repair must have
been purchased from "The Company". A service charge
will be levied against these products when they are not
eligible for claims under warranty. Where a product is
returned or examined and is not found to be defective
"The Company" may make a reasonable charge for
inspection and handling. For faulty equipment which is out of
warranty, repairs will be charged as per the current price
list and spare parts will be supplied for our equipment at
cost.
Returns should be sent carriage paid by the customer within
the warranty period, "The Company" will not be
liable for any expense incurred in travelling to repair or
replace the product. Items returned to the customer are via
standard post. Requests for express deliveries or using
special couriers etcetera are to the customers account.
A product is "defective" if it fails to function
properly owing to fault in it’s manufacture, material or
workmanship arising under normal conditions of installation,
storage, use as stated in its operating manual and service
appropriate to the purpose for which it is designed. Warranty
claims will not be accepted in cases when in the opinion of
"The Company" are the result of misuse, negligence,
accident, application, adjustment, repair or attempted repair
or where interference has occurred which precludes
determination of the true cause of the defect.
At our option "The Company" will replace, repair
or refund the purchase price of any item returned and proved
to our satisfaction to be faulty subject to a claim being made
within one year of sale. No liability is accepted in relation
to consequential damage, injury or loss of revenue arising
from defective items whether such a claim arises in contract
or otherwise.
Prior authorisation should be sought from "The
Company" before a return is made, a reasonable restocking
charge may be applied.
5/ Settlement Terms:
Cash with order unless a TRADE ACCOUNT has been established
(this also largely means that payment by credit or debit card,
bank transfer, cheque or PayPal is also accepted).
6/ Returns of no-fault items (distant selling):
"The Company" acknowledges and abides the terms
of the distance selling laws and consumer rights. Mail order
purchases are only accepted if we are advised in writing not
more than 7 days after receipt of your order. The
equipment must be in NEW AND UNUSED condition. Refunds
will be made in the method of initial payment only and within
30 days. Carriage outbound and inbound is not refunded.
A handling charge WILL be applied for equipment which is
soiled, has been mishandled or is incomplete in any way,
typically this is 30% of the original purchase price.
