TenTec DIRECT UK - order & payment

The TenTec DIRECT UK sales office & support is provided via AOR UK LTD, a high level of technical support is provided through this arrangement. We do not ship products to the USA, please contact TenTec USA. TenTec equipment sold in the UK is 'CE' approved and carries a 12 month warranty.

Equipment is sold subject to the company’s current terms and conditions. The company reserves the right to change prices, terms and conditions and specifications due to changes in cost and currency fluctuations. When an order is processed, a credit/debit card docket is always provided along with a VAT receipt.

Orders by credit card MUST be despatched to the card holders registered address (i.e. usually your home address). If delivery to an alternate address is necessary, we must receive a signed written instruction to this affect, faxed to us will be okay.

Orders from certain geographical areas such as Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, China, India and the middle-east have been so problematic that we usually decline to supply these areas. Receivers are banned in some countries and others return receivers from customs, this includes Norway, Belgium and France. Radio receivers are not supplied to the USA, please contact TenTec USA.

Certain areas will not exchange name / address data between banks, this makes security checking difficult, examples are France, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, China. If we consider shipping to these areas, we may ask for copies of both sides of your credit card to be faxed to us or the top half or the bank statement etc, ham radio callsigns are very useful.

Customer details are not maintained on the internet site, for this reason it will be necessary to complete your details each time you place an order. * The card holder's registered address (usually where your bank forwards your credit card statements) and delivery address MUST be the same, if delivery is required to a different address, you must fill in this form (or the fax form on the payment page), print it out then fax / post it to us WITH A SIGNATURE and land-line (not-mobile) daytime contact telephone number.

Maestro / Solo can only be processed when customers visit us directly to personally collect the goods. DINERS and other cards not listed here are not accepted. 'Virtual credit cards' designed for single transactions via the internet are not accepted.

Orders will be acknowledged by separate (manual) e-mail when they have been processed, if you need to query the progress of an order, please quote the time and date the order was submitted.

Payments from overseas should be drawn on a UK bank, if drawn on a non UK bank please add GBP £10.00 to cover bank charges. Funds MUST arrive in the correct currency account or commission charges will be passed back to you (GBP or EURO *):

* Euro €: Quotations for payment in EURO should be obtained before an order is placed. Payment should be drawn on a UK bank (made payable to AOR UK LTD). Payments from overseas should also be drawn on a UK bank, if drawn on a non UK bank please add €15.00 to cover bank charges, it may take several weeks to clear personal Euro currency cheques drawn on overseas banks.

Bank transfers are subject to a bank charge of GBP STERLING £ 10.00 or EURO €15.00 depending upon which currency is employed.

If you cannot access the SSL secure page (older browsers) and do not have fax, as a last resort you may consider credit card numbers by e-mail, you do so at your own risk. Having said this, many orders have been successfully completed by e-mail without problem. You may wish to split the card details over two or more messages or type the number to make automatic reading more difficult. Alternatively, place the text as an attachment or ZIP IT UP using a password, don't forget to send us a separate e-mail letting us know what the password is!
