PRE-RELEASE INFORMATION

JT2000 has been under development for some time and combines DSP and FFT technology into a wide band receiver.  The receiver was first displayed at the Dayton Hamvention in May'2000 in 'proto-concept' format (part way between concept, prototype and pre-production).

JT2000 is running around two years behind expected schedule, originally we had expected first production to take place at the end of 2000 ! The final RF PCB took much, much longer than expected to finalise, but the project is still rolling forward and all PCBs are now built and progressing through the testing phase as a complete receiver. The software is well advanced and requires testing / finalisation only. The designer is currently assessing the specification against projected targets and should be providing us with a report very shortly (March 2003). 

Once approved, we will move to production which will take 3 to 4 months from start to final product for sale. Its a frustrating wait, sorry. Price will also be aimed at government users, we are no-longer 'guessing' what this may be.

Note: Due to the level of enquiries for a product 'not ready to ship for several months', a corporate decision has been made to remove the bulk of data from the JT2000 page and associated links (16.01.2002). However, the page still exists in basic form as we are aware that many folk have book-marked it, we will be able to provide 'firm data' via the page when available.
