about us...
AOR UK is located in the heart of England.
From our premises in the picturesque town of MATLOCK, we enjoy
views of the Derbyshire Dales. We are no newcomer to the
internet, we have had an active web site since 1996 and were
active on usenet and e-mail even earlier.
We are the distributor for AOR & TenTec
products in the UK & Ireland. We also stock the Kinetic SBS1er
& AirNav RadarBox (Virtual Aircraft Receivers), Perseus
HF receiver and Uniden
budget receivers. The award winning
AOR AR7030 short wave receiver has been manufactured at our Matlock
facility too.
Our UK workshop is permanently staffed and capable
of maintaining all the items we have for sale. In fact, we act
as the European service centre for ALL TenTec warranty repairs.

To view ALL products, click on the PRODUCTS links from the
left hand menu, various categories will be displayed.
Alternatively you can click on the brand logos in the left
menu to jump directly to the required product range.
Initially a "short list" will be displayed, click
on details to view full product information. You may
find that leaflets are available in PDF format, operating
manuals and occasionally PC software.
Prices are shown in £ GBP (GB POUND STERLING)
without VAT, the VAT inclusive prices at the current UK rate
of 17.5% from 01.01.2010 are show (in brackets). When despatch is made
outside of the EU (European Union), VAT is deducted but the
purchaser remains liable for any taxes upon arrival at the
final destination.
EU based non-UK companies may quote their VAT number in the
payment page, we will then zero-rate VAT on the final invoice
and adjust the debits accordingly.
A mini-cart will be displayed when viewing the products and
category pages, so you can keep track of your
selections. You can add to, delete and adjust the items
in the cart at any time by visiting the checkout page.
Carriage is an ESTIMATE and will be adjusted as
required, if the price difference is significant, we will
contact you before proceeding. For more accurate
pricing, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern
Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may be selected
from the "country" drop-down list on the
"cart" page. Carriage to the Scottish
highlands and Islands will be adjusted as required.
